Discover the origins of modern and past calendar systems. This site covers the calendars of several different cultures and includes a timeline of calendar facts.

• Calculation of the Ecclesiastical Calendar - Will calculate the dates and days-of-the-week for Western and Orthodox Christian holy days, feasts, etc. for any year after 325 AD.

• Calendar of Jewish Holidays - This Calendar gives the English Calendar dates for traditional Jewish Holidays for 1996-2006. A short description of each holiday is also provided. This page will only be legible if your browser supports tables.

Other features include a quick reference to signs of the zodiac and seasons of the year along with their corresponding dates.
